RODDING EPOXY
This product is designed to add strength to large heavy slabs of marble or other stone products that are over 10 feet long.
A 1/4” channel is made the length of the stone piece and then filled with
Rodding Epoxy Adhesive into which a steel rod is then placed. When dry
this procedure sustains the heavy stone and successfully prevents
bending and breakage.
IN CONCLUSION...
High production shops often choose the less expensive polyester glues and take a chance on the reputed 10% shrinkage upon curing. Such curing can cause extreme cracks which then compromises the adhesive of the respective surface or substrate. Quality shops do not use polyester adhesives at all. They prefer epoxy because of the assurance of non-shrinkage, which leads to much fewer customer call backs. Polyester adhesives over time become very brittle and are also subject to fracturing failure. Rapid Cure is a perfect product for the quality shop. (The Marble Institute of America has conducted strength tests on this process.)

MASTER KIT - A Dual Purpose Kit
TECH-BOND is a new cost saving, dual use custom epoxy designed for fiberglass and woven fabric laminations commonly used in model airplane fabrication. TECH-BOND is the perfect material for fabricating wings and fuselages because it provides excellent working abilities and superior wetting properties for reduced epoxy usage. Results provide an incredible strength with resistance to cracking.
TECH-BOND is also applicable for marine boat repair and maintenance, general engineering design, prototype parts production and other uses that require strong structural integrity without brittle results.
TECH-BOND is designed to be a room temperature curing adhesive, however with the addition of modest heat for several hours, the entire hardening process is greatly accelerated and stronger physical properties are obtained with elevated curing temperatures.
TECH-BOND is formulated to have a very low liquid viscosity that promotes super saturation of woven cloth or other substrates. The Master Kit contains formula ingredients that allows the fabricator to select and “tailor “ his exact curing or hardening time as required for a specific job using only one Master Kit.

KIT CONTENT
Each Kit has 3 containers, one bottle of Hardener Part B, one bottle of slow Compound Part A, and one bottle of fast Compound Part A. Both Part A. curing agents use the same Part B. Hardener to obtain different time results.
With just one Master Kit, a fabricator can select an epoxy curing reaction time for a particular job in process. Reaction times for a 60 gram mixture can be as slow as 100 minutes and as fast as 35-40 minutes depending upon room temperature conditions. Another option would be to co-blend the fast and slow Part A compounds which would result in a tailored curing time between 70 to 75 minutes
